Bobby Lee Elrod, 71, went home to be with the Lord, April 6, 2013. His final days were spent surrounded by loved ones. Bob was born July 21, 1941, in White Co., TN to Orb and Tiny Irene Johnson Elrod.

In 1960, Bob joined the United States Air Force. He was first stationed in Amarillo, TX for training as an aircraft mechanic. Bob was then transferred to Whiteman AFB, MO, for a period of time he often recalled as the coldest two winters he had ever spent.
